We were on the way to the "Saleo Market"...
Or I should say we thought we were on the way.
In the end of January, the weather in Siem Reap is still so hot. We walked along with the Siem Reap River with a very exciting mood.First, we saw a church there and then a Pagoda. The buildings in the Pagoda attracted us a lot. We didn't notice it is a Pagoda in the beginning, after entering it, we started to realize where we were. There is also a school inside the Pagoda. You can hear children reading books loudly, even though I didn't understand it at all.We also saw some high school students. They are just friendly talking with us. It helped me feel I am so popular.^^ The children were the same, saying "Hello" while waving their small hands. Gab and I walked around and the kept leaving for the "Salor market".According to the hostess' advice, we need to go across the bridge, and we did it. Well, there is really a bourg. And Cambodians really buy things or food there, however I didn't see any skirt shop. Anyway, it's not "Salor Market". We spend some time walking around there. And we found another Pagoda, made friends with some monks. Finally, the monk told us we were completely in the wrong place.
Instead of going to the "Salor Market" and buying the skirt, I got the chance to contact with the people there...no matter they are students, children or the monks.I love them! The people in the street.
